چکیده
This paper presents a comprehensive study of the differences in heavy metal adsorption on natural, modified, and synthetic zeolites. Heavy treatment are critical issues today's modern world, despite advancements technology, they remain global challenge. Industrial effluents major source pollutants, which have severe impact human health environment. Therefore, removing metals from contaminated water wastewater is necessity. Adsorption most commonly used method for environment due to its cost-effectiveness, design, performance. Among various adsorbents, zeolites currently considered suitable their simplicity, varying ion-exchange capacity natural worldwide cations such as ammonium ions. The findings this research could provide useful information developing efficient cost-effective methods removal wastewater, thus addressing issue. outcomes contribute promoting green healthy

Background: There are great resources of natural zeolite in Iran. Zeolite, an inorganic ion-exchanger, may be used as a suitable technical-economical solution for water treatment in many regions of Iran. In this study, the characterization of natural zeolite natrolite and the feasibility of removing hardness, cations, and anions were investigated. Methods: First, zeolite composition and type...
متن کاملHeavy metal adsorption by clinoptilolite from aqueous solutions
The present investigation has been carried out to assess a chromium, cobalt, and cadmium from wastewaters by natural and modified zeolites were examined by using batch type method. A clinoptilolite type synthetic / natural zeolite were pretreated with HCl and HNO3 to improve the adsorption capacity for heavy metals. The removal efficiencies and kinetics of heavy metals such as chromium, cobalt ...

The adsorption of Acid blue 25, basic blue 9, basic violet 3, Pb(2+), Ni(2+), Zn(2+) and Cd(2+) ions has been studied in single and dye-metal binary solutions using two mineral materials: Clinoptilolite (CL) and ER (Erionite). These zeolites were characterized by FT-IR spectroscopy; potentiometric titration and nitrogen adsorption isotherms at 77 K to obtain their textural parameters. Results i...
متن کاملAdsorption and toxicity of heavy metals on activated sludge
The adsorption of Cu, Cd, Ni, Zn, and Cr from synthetic solutions on powdered activated carbon (PAC), activated sludge, and dried sludge were investigated under laboratory conditions to assess its ability to remove heavy metals. The adsorption efficiency increased rapidly within the first 30 min and then slowed down as it approached a steady state after 5 h of contact time. The results showed t...
